    House Parents

    Job description: Today’s Harbor for Children is currently interviewing married couples that want to make a difference in the lives of children by serving as a positive role model to residents in their care. This is a wonderful position for a mature couple with or without school-aged children of their own.

    Responsibilities:  All the roles and responsibilities of a parent, including the provision of material needs, physical needs, emotional needs, and disciplinary needs. Prepare meals, administer and document medications, provide transportation for residents in a Harbor assigned vehicle. Responsibilities also include facilitating on-going relationships with other residents and their families. House parents are required to live in on-campus housing.

    Benefits: Salary plus housing, company provided transportation, medical benefits, full-time position with regularly scheduled time-off.

    Requirements: Legally married for a minimum of two years, some college preferred, the ability to pass drug screening and criminal background check, and a driver’s license with good driving record.
